INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW COMPETITION

The International Humanitarian Law Moot is an annual international moot court competition organized by the Hong Kong Red Cross and International Committee of Red Cross. The IHL Moot Court Competition seeks to raise awareness of the laws of war. It also provides an opportunity for law students to make their case and apply the law in a practical setting of a war crimes tribunal. Counsel need to prepare written and oral submissions for both sides (Prosecutor and Defendant) simulating a proceeding before the International Court of Justice.
