PILS INTERNSHIP
The PILS Internship Program offers direct mooting mentorship from senior PILS members who are actively involved in mooting competitions for first-year law students. The Internship starts after the first semester midterms and ends in the 2nd semester. Interns will be assigned under PILS’ moot teams and rotated to maximize exposure to various competitions that PILS members participate in. Interns will get the opportunity to observe first-hand how mooting competitions work, from the drafting stage, oral pleading practice sessions in law firms, and finally, the competition itself. To help hone their skills, interns will be given assignments such as drafting legal research papers and presenting them to the team members. After completing the Internship Program, interns will face a final assignment where they will have to participate in an internal moot. Here, interns will have to apply all the skills and knowledge they have acquired in an internal moot court competition against each other as a final step before placement in competition teams.

TEAM MEMBER OPEN RECRUITMENT
Unlike the PILS Internship Program, this program is open for all UNPAR Law students. This type of recruitment is usually conducted to enroll students in a specific competition. Students who pass will be directly assigned to their respective teams that will then represent UNPAR in external mooting competitions. This program offers a much more advanced experience as recruits who are accepted into the team will not be treated as interns, but full-fledged team members who will be expected to draft legal memorials and conduct oral pleadings. This recruitment program also employs a higher standard because potential recruits are expected to have already been exposed to international law and have some experience in drafting legal essays.
